Unique Venues to Host Exclusive Second Annual Marketing Conference in Chicago this October

Free for members, the two-day summit aims to educate venues how to market and serve planners

EDWARDS, COLORADO (August 23, 2013) – Unique Venues, a marketing and membership organization that connects one-of-a-kind event locations with meeting planners, has unveiled the full agenda for the Second Annual Marketing Conference this fall. To be held at Unique Venues’ member venue Loyola University Chicago October 7-8, 2013, the two-day summit is free for enhanced members and higher and will provide sales tips, networking opportunities and educational sessions on technology and social media in order to better equip non-traditional venues with the most effective ways to work with planners.

Sessions will include topics such as “Top Technology Trends for Venue Sales,” “Social Media: Moving Beyond the Ordinary,” “Magnificent Marketing in 140 Characters,” “Tips and Trends for Effective Marketing Communications,” “Planner Outreach Overview” and “Being Magnificent at Serving Your Guests.” There will also be featured keynote sessions hosted by respected international speaker, consultant and writer Corbin Ball, CSP, CMP, MS. Ball has 20 years of experience educating clients on how to better use technology to save time and increase productivity. He is the only person to have received both the MPI International Supplier of the Year and the MPI International Chapter Leader of the Year awards and was named as one of "The 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry" for 2012 by Successful Meetings magazine.
