Unique Venues Hires Georgia Tech's Mandy Volpe to Lead Brand-New Marketing Manager Role

Effective immediately, Volpe will assist in sales and outreach efforts and social media strategies

EDWARDS, COLORADO (February 7, 2014) – It’s an exciting time at Unique Venues as the #1 resource for non-traditional event venues, and the meeting planners who need them, continues to expand. Today, the company announced the appointment of industry expert Mandy Volpe in a newly created marketing manager role that will lead communications and sales for the numerous members in the organization. Volpe’s responsibilities will include the development of targeted marketing materials, solutions for venue sales, increased planner outreach as well as the orchestration of a comprehensive social media plan for both Unique Venues and its members, in a new service to be announced in the coming months.

Volpe’s previous position was in a similar role as marketing manager for the housing division of Georgia Institute of Technology where she developed a communication plan for the university’s conference services, aiding in its exposure to planners. Volpe holds a certificate in hospitality and a master’s degree in business administration. She has been honored with such achievements as being named one of Rejuvenate Magazine’s “40 Under 40 Industry Influencers” as well as receiving the award for ACCED-I’s 2013 Outstanding New Conference and Events Professional.
