Patrick Cornelissen Is Awarded CCEP Certification


Patrick Cornelissen has recently been awarded the highly coveted Collegiate Conference and Events Professional (CCEP) certification and is currently one of about 60 Collegiate Event Professionals in North America to hold this distinction.

As part of the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I), successful candidates demonstrate though a rigorous certification program that they have the desire, determination and ability to be among the very best in collegiate based conference and events management profession. Among the various requirements, candidates must complete a lengthy research based examination, which is judged by a panel of the applicant's peers.

“As an event professional, I feel the need to continuously acquire new knowledge and skills in an ever changing business environment, explains Cornelissen. “The CCEP certification keeps me on my toes and, although the certification process is lengthy and laborious, it forms the perfect opportunity to reflect, analyze and anticipate important issues within the collegiate conference industry”.

Patrick Cornelissen is currently employed as Director of Operations at Endicott College. He was instrumental in developing the award-winning Misselwood Estate as a leading event and wedding venue and is the founder of the Misselwood Concours d’Elegance; a premier classic car event that serves as a fundraiser for scholarships at Endicott College.
