The Ohio State University has an opening for a Director of Catering in Student Life/Dining Services at the Columbus campus.
Qualifications:
Required: Experience in managing a high-volume food operation (7-12 years); experience in supervising food service personnel (7-12 years); experience with general culinary concepts, menu design and recipe costing (7-10 years); experience with special event planning.
Desired: Considerable experience in managing a high-volume catering and/or food operation (10-12 years); considerable experience in supervising food service personnel (10-12 years); experience with general culinary concepts, menu design and recipe costing (8-10 years); experience with special event planning. Considerable experience managing a university or multi-unit food service operation including managing subordinate managers, regular and student staff (10-12 years); experience with food and beverage equipment (10-12 years); excellent oral and written communication skills; experience with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards (10 -12 years); SERVSAFE certification or equivalent.
Additional Information:
The salary range for this position is $63,700 – $83,600.
