Unique Venues Annual Marketing Conference October 22-23, 2018

No matter what it is you’d like to be, do, eat or drink — even if you’ve never tried it before —
You Can, in Portland.

Things To Know

What to wear to the Conference: Comfort is the key word. Wear what you are comfortable in…khakis to jeans…sandals to tennis shoes. We want you to thoroughly enjoy this experience. You may want to bring a light jacket or sweater for air-conditioned rooms and and a rain jacket and umbrella for outside adventures.

Relax, Learn and Enjoy: Outside of the educational sessions, you will have the opportunity to network with Unique Venues colleagues. During our Member Appreciation Party at Punch Bowl Social PDX you can enjoy Karaoke, Arcade Games and don’t forget your socks because bowling is also an option!

Portland Weather: Fall in Oregon is a colorful month in more ways than one. October days tend to be mild and partly sunny as the weather starts to cool, rain becomes more common and the leaves turn beautiful colors.

• The trip between the airport and downtown takes about 38 minutes.
• An Adult ticket costs $2.50.
• You can roll your luggage on board.
• The first train of the day arrives at PDX at 4:45am. The last train departs PDX at 11:50pm.
• The MAX station and ticket machines are located on the lower level, next to the south baggage claim area.

The average taxi fare from the airport to downtown is approximately $35 before gratuity. The one-way trip takes 20-40 minutes. You can find taxis waiting in the center section of the airport terminal’s lower roadway outside of baggage claim; to get back to the airport from the city center, you can order a cab through the city’s main operators or from a hotel with a dedicated taxi stand.

When you leave the airport, you will find the shuttles at the bottom entrance of the terminal (outside the baggage claim area) on the other side of the second strip (“Island 2”) near the parking garage.

Portland Streetcar
With frequent, affordable, and accessible service, the Portland Streetcar is a transportation option that serves the needs of a diverse community. CLICK HERE for maps, schedules and fare information.

With almost 80 lines, buses serve much of the Portland Metro area. Many bus lines connect with MAX Light Rail, WES Commuter Rail, Portland Streetcar and the Portland Aerial Tram. CLICK HERE for more information.
