The 8500 guest limit is based on the number that can be seated at once in the auditorium all year long. Three thousand guests can find overnight lodgings from May through August as well. All told, there are 100 meeting and event rooms. The largest classroom-style chamber seats 800. The campus facilities are big (though not quite as big as Montana itself.)

The Montana State University's catering staff can provide for as little as coffee service for five, or as much as full fine dining for over a thousand guests. Share your needs with your event coordinator and they'll see to it that you get just what you need.
In such a beautiful place, it would be a shame if your guests weren't able to partake in at least some of the great outdoors opportunities. World-class fly fishing, nature hikes, skiing, snowboarding, rafting, and much much more are all there, just outside the doorstep. Yet this pristine landscape is very conveniently accessed.
Billings is just 140 miles away. Butte is only 80 miles from the campus. Helena is 95 miles and West Yellowstone is under a hundred miles from Bozeman. Flying in? That's even easier yet! Gallatin Field Airport is just 10 minutes from campus. Convenience helps make this venue one of the top meeting facilities in Montana.
The Big Sky country is to be seen firsthand, experienced. Plan to host your next event at the Montana State University in Bozeman. Expect it to be memorable. You won't be disappointed.
