Colorado State University is located in Fort Collins, at the foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains.  The Colorado State University campus provides an educational aura, an awe-inspiring conference site and a surrounding area that beckons visitors to enjoy outstanding recreation.  With over 300 days of sunshine per year, the Fort Collins area offers diverse outdoor activities with direct access to major recreation areas such as: tubing in the Poudre River, water-skiing on Horsetooth Reservoir, and hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park.  Also known as The Choice City, Fort Collins has been named by Money Magazine as one of the best place to live, work, and play in America, and has been recently named a Top Twelve Distinctive Destination by the National Trust.  Fort Collins is also conveniently located within 50 minutes of Denver International Airport and downtown Denver, an ideal destination for people who love culture as much as the outdoors.

On campus there are ample activities for guests to enjoy.  The CSU campus is a one-square mile contained pedestrian and bike friendly campus, which is especially suited for youth camps and programs.  Recreational amenities include the newly renovated Student Recreation Center with state-of-the-art facilities including a lazy river, rock climbing wall, track, massage services and multipurpose athletic courts.  Outdoor facilities include 13 centrally located intramural fields, basketball courts, an in-line skating area, sand volleyball courts, and ropes course great for team building programming.

Planning an event on campus has never been easier!  The CSU Office of Conference Services, a member of the Fort Collins CVB and the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I), provides services to youth, athletic, religious, and scientific organizations, as well as large corporations.  CSU has been in the meeting business for over 50 years and is a certified One-Stop Shop.  Events at CSU are assigned a personal Conference Coordinator who ensures complete success.  Services include: providing the ideal venue, lodging, food services and catering, registration assistancefinancial management, audio visual  support, transportation, printing, and so much more!  Conference Services at CSU incorporates the University’s green initiatives by including environmentally friendly conference packages options based on their Green, Greener and Greenest scale.

The meeting facilities at Colorado State are versatile for events from 50 to 7,000 participants.  CSU offers guests 23,000 square feet of state-of-the-art lecture hall space with SMART technology in a centrally located conference building, plus more than 100 classrooms of various sizes across campus.  The on-site Moby Arena seats 8,745 as a sports arena and up to 6,000 for a single conference.  In addition, there are multi-function areas within the residence halls that accommodate groups from 10 to 500.  The Lory Student Center offers venue space with meeting rooms, ballrooms, and a freshly renovated 500-seat versatile LEED Certified theater space.  The Lory Student Center building is currently undergoing a $65 million  revitalization project that will renovate the existing space and add an additional 40,000 square feet of ballroom, food court seating and meeting space.

On-campus housing provides 5,000 beds for summer meetings and conferences.  In addition, the $57 million Laurel Village project will be adding 600 new beds for conference guests.  The project will also create an enhanced meeting and dining space for conference guests by adding an additional 15,000 square feet of meeting facilities on site along with the renovation of the existing Durrell Dining Center.
