Spring break. Spring cleaning. Spring fever. We all like a little Spring in our step, and there’s scientific reason why it makes for one of the best seasons to plan meetings and events. First, the days are suddenly longer, which means there’s more time to accomplish agendas, particularly if the itinerary calls for a lot of outdoor time. Because there is also more sunlight, people will feel more energized and happy thanks to the increased serotonin and vitamin D absorbed from the natural rays. Spring also provides the psychological idea of a fresh start, when things (and ideas) can start to bloom, and in kind attendees may be more open to the seminars and speakers you may have planned. After all, it’s not called spring training season for nothing!
