With state-of-the-art technology and beautifully elegant meeting rooms, the Virginia Tech Executive Briefing Center is designed to accommodate executive seminars, training programs, workshops, receptions, and many other events for both internal and external clients. The conference center is located on the second floor of the Virginia Tech Research Center – Arlington, just blocks from the Metro station and Interstate 66 and in the heart of the vibrant Ballston area rich with restaurants, shops, and nearby hotels. Within our LEED-certified facility you will find:

Through a partnership solidified with a generous donation by Cyviz in April of 2015, the Executive Briefing Center offers its guests leading edge visualization and collaboration technology that is both intuitive and dynamic. Clients using EBC meeting space enjoy these features as part of their standard booking, making for seamless and impressive presentation experiences.

Housed in the Virginia Tech Research Center – Arlington, the EBC is less than a five-minute walk from the Ballston-MU Metro Station, which is connected by both the Orange and Silver lines allowing for a quick and easy excursion into Washington, DC. In addition, our facility is conveniently located in proximity to two airports in the Northern Virginia area. The Dulles International Airport (IAD) is approximately 30 minutes west and the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is approximately 20 minutes south via car. Furthermore, our Metrorail service connects our guests directly to Amtrak and MARC trains via Union Station and also provides a quick connection to DCA airport, making even airport transit to our briefing center seamless and stress-free!

    The Executive Briefing Center does not have in-house catering services, however, clients are able to arrange those services with any licensed and insured vendor. Vendors must provide a certificate of insurance prior to their provision of service. This is pretty standard and should be an easy request for your preferred vendor. 

    The Executive Briefing Center has established relationships with many local caterers; we will gladly provide you with a list of trusted and tested vendors.

    Please note that working meals are not permitted in the Ballston and Foggy Bottom rooms, however options are available for accomodating guests during that time.

Executive Briefing Center When booking space at the Executive Briefing Center there will always be onsite event staff who will be there to greet you when you arrive and assist with connecting your laptop to our house projection systems.  The onsite staff are also there to assist with directing any catering deliveries to their designated areas and answer any questions throughout your meeting.  A few items we are also able to provide at incremental costs include copy/print services, linen rentals, additional flip charts, and parking validation services if available. 

 

Continuing and Professional Education: CPE works closely with the Executive Briefing Center to provide comprehensive conference and meeting planning services including short courses, seminars, workshops, training programs and conferences. Expertise includes providing academic, government, corporate, and professional organizations with program implementation, marketing strategy, web development, print promotion, registration, contract management, site support logistics, and fiscal administration. Continuing and Professional Education’s faculty and staff have extensive experience convening organizations and leaders to plan and implement projects.

CPE services include:

Onsite Wireless Internet:
Free: Wireless Internet is included in the room rental cost when booking space the Executive Briefing Center. The Network and Password are displayed in each meeting room for easy connecting.

Onsite A/V Staff:
Yes: When booking space at the Executive Briefing Center there is onsite technical assistance that will be available to help connect your laptop to our in-house projection systems as well as do basic trouble shooting on EBC equipment, if necessary.
