The University of New England offers two distinctive settings to host your event.
Our Biddeford Campus is located on a picturesque site in Biddeford, Maine, where the Saco River flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Our Portland Campus in Portland, Maine is designated a national historic district and is quintessential New England, with a central green surrounded by classic brick buildings.

Both our seaside campus and our suburban campus are equipped to host a wide variety of meetings, conferences, camps, and formal gatherings.

    Familiarly know as "Alfond," this building is home to UNE's College of Osteopathic Medicine and features four (4) premier lecture halls with capacity for 150 people each plus seven (7) additional seminar rooms perfect for breakout locations at your next conference.

    Ludcke Auditorium
    The Eleanor deWolfe Ludcke ’26 Auditorium is a 225-seat non-traditional facility on the Portland campus that is perfect for concerts, speaker series', symposiums or large forums. Its vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows offer a unique and stand-out setting for group gatherings.

    Campus Center Multi-Purpose Rooms
    Housed within the Campus Center at UNE's Biddeford location, the Pettapiece, Simard and Wescott meeting rooms can accommodate between 250 and 300 guests with the dividers open or 40 to 60 people individually. With full media technology and movable seating, this location is perfect for your next banquet, reception or lecture series.

    College of Pharmacy
    The Portland campus' newest building is the first in UNE's history to receive a Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the US Green Building Council. Opening its doors during the Fall of 2009, it boasts six class and seminar rooms and three specialized Pharmaceutics teaching and practices laboratories.

    George & Barbara Bush Center
    The George and Barbara Bush Center in Biddeford anchors the heritage of George and Barbara Bush in New England. The Bush Center's water views from its Windward Cafe, 2nd floor President's Boardroom and Windward Terrace provide guests with the opportunity to meet, reflect and renew as Walker's Point has done for George and Barbara Bush and their family over the years.

Each suite can hold a maximum of 4 to 6 guests when rooms are occupied as doubles and 2 to 3 guests when occupied as singles. 2-bedroom suites are equipped with one full-size bath; whereas 3-bedroom suites feature two full-size bathrooms. Champlain Hall also houses a complimentary laundry facility and a large lounge space complete with couches, easy chairs and a plasma TV.

    Event & Registration Management
    With over 20 years of combined experience, we offer a wide variety of event management services ranging from, but not limited to, online registration services and on-site registration management. Our professional planners are experienced in keeping you organized and on task while assisting with the many facets of your event.
    Green Meeting Package
    UNE is happy to assist in providing Green Meeting options in a variety of ways. We can provide each planner with a "Green Meetings Checklist" and offer guidance and a host of options at various price-points tailored to your conference or function.

    Technology

    Computer Labs
    UNE features a handful of computer labs with modern media technology and superb workstations. Three of these labs are available for exclusive booking by clients through the Office of Conference Services for instructional use. The rest are available to conference guests and UNE community members for public use (print boarding passes, check email, etc).
    Information Technology Services
    Information Technology Services at UNE is committed to technology integration in all aspects of the University's academic and institutional mission, and is happy to customize specific requests from any client to the best of their ability. UNE Conference Services works closely with the ITS department to meet and exceed clients' expectations for integrating cutting-edge technology into each event.
