Welcome to the University of Redlands! The University has successfully hosted conferences, weddings and special events for groups throughout Southern California and the United States for more than 50 years. We specialize in weddings and week-long residential summer conference programs that range in topics from Music and Arts, Student Programs, Religion, Governmental Affairs and Life Experiences. The University is situated around the iconic Memorial Chapel, which holds 1,300 guests and is often used for a variety of events and religious conferences.

Our newly renovated dining commons offers a modern setting for your eating experience. Food venues rotate weekly and feature diverse concepts including Pacific Rim Exhibition and Sushi, Classics, Panini, Mundo Latino and Olives Mediterranean cuisine. Each venue offers vegan and vegetarian cuisine featuring locally grown field fresh produce at each and every meal. Our California Grill, Soups made from scratch daily and farm to fork Salad Bar is a staple at every meal. For your convenience, Bon Appétit offers special event catering services. From small groups to large, meals can be catered to your special event location anywhere on campus.

Orton Center Orton Center is our largest indoor catering and conference facility, seating over 400 guests.

LaFourcade Garden Developed for the enjoyment of the campus community by students, community volunteers, alumni, faculty and staff, the La Fourcade is a reflective, performance, and gathering space. This sanctuary was developed as a get-away in the middle of campus and is filled with beautiful flowers, butterflies, hummingbirds and koi.

Administration Lawn Flanking the north side of the Administration Building, the lawn boasts magnificent views of the Quad, the Memorial Chapel and the mountains in the distance. This is one of the most photographed and iconic spots on the beautiful University of Redlands campus, and the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony or special celebration.

The Rose Garden The picturesque and fragrant Rose Garden stretches out beyond the east side of the Hall of Letters. This is a perfect spot for larger receptions, philanthropic events or special parties. It can easily be added to the Hall of Letters North or South patios to create a larger space.

Hall of Letters- North Patio A prime example of stately architecture on campus, the Hall of Letters is surrounded by three picturesque outdoor settings. Perched on a hill overlooking the campus, the North Patio is an excellent place for a wedding reception, with a built-in dance floor or presentation area.

Hall of Letters- South Patio The South Hall of Letters Patio is a secluded space, just right for an intimate wedding ceremony or private event. The area features a park-like surrouding with large tress and stately architecture on three sides.

Casa Loma Room The Casa Loma Room is near the northest side of the Memorial Chapel, and close to the center of campus. It has a wonderful outdoor porch area and lawn, great for decorating. The grace and elegance of the Casa Loma Room make it a favorite for professional meetings and wedding ceremonies and receptions.

University Hall This is a multi-purpose facility with a built in dance floor and is often used for musical practice sessions or large break out groups.

University Club The University Club is the star of the Hunsaker University Center and sits at the social and geographical heart of the campus. The facility is open to the public throughout the week for a sophisticated dining experience. Outside of lunch hours, the facility is open for special events, such as small wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, baby and wedding showers or small dinner parties.

Memorial Chapel The Historic Memorial Chapel was completed in 1927 and has served as the campus gathering space. It is the visual anchor of the Quad and the most recognized building on our campus. The Chapel features enormous, beautiful stained glass windows that were designed by Walter Horace Judson, founder of the famous Judson Studios of Los Angeles. The Chapel seats nearly 1,400 guests and is ideal for large seminars and wedding ceremonies.

Alumni House With its elegant patios, lush lawns, picturesque gazebo and mountain views, the Alumni House is one of our most popular wedding and reception venues on campus. Capacity is 250 outdoors, per garden, and 60 indoors.

One Stop Shop Customer Service The Campus Events office is a certified ACCED-I "one stop shop" location for all of your conference, special events and wedding needs. While you are here, we will do everything possible to serve your needs and help organize a smooth and successful event. Campus Events schedules lodging, meeting facilities, food and beverage service, audio visual, parking arrangements and more. Our services are customized to fit almost any conference or special event budget. With award-winning, on-site catering service and state-of-the-art facilities, the University is the ideal setting for your wedding, conference or meeting needs. We provide professional conference coordinators to serve as a liaison between your organization and our campus service providers prior to and during your stay. We strive to provide outstanding service to all of our clients, going above-and-beyond what you have come to expect from other university conference service providers.

24 Hour Public Safety Office Uniformed officers are on duty 24 hours a day, offering full service security and emergency protection.

Free Parking Parking is free for all guests and a parking permit is not required.

Post Office, Library, Bookstore and ATM The University offers a post office, library with computers, bookstore and ATM.

Computer Center The Jones Computer Center is open and available for conference guests to check their e-mail and other computer needs.

Recreation Facilities An olympic size pool and fitness center are available for conference guests at a nominal fee.

Outdoor Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball These facilities may be reserved by conference group without any fees or charges.

Laundry Facilities Each residence hall comes equiped with laundry facilities. A purchased card will activate these services.

Business Center The Campus Events Office is open seven days a week for any business service needs you may have.

Amusement Park Tickets Discounted tickets for the Krikorian movie theater and other nearby attractions are available through our ticket office. Tickets for Disneyland, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Raging Waters can be found through our online ticket website.

Market Night A vibrant variety of produce and merchandise booths, along with live entertainment held every Thursday from 6PM to 9PM (Closed on holidays). Located in historic downtown Redlands on State Street between Orange and Ninth streets.

The "Asistencia" A California historical landmark established in 1819 as a part of the Mission San Gabriel's Rancho San Bernardino. This site originally functioned as an outpost for cattle grazing activities, and is now host to the museum of its history and as a representation of WPA-era handcrafted structures.

San Bernardino County Museum Nipped by the history bug? Then the San Bernardino County Museum is just what you're looking for! Spotted off the I-10 thanks to its distinctive geodesic dome, visitors have the opportunity to troll through San Bernardino's rich history. The museum features rotating exhibits, in addition to its vast collection of eggs and preserved wildlife. There's even a train and a stagecoach!

Splash Kingdom From the I-10 freeway you may have glimpsed a sphinx guarding a pyramid on your journey to the University of Redlands. Congrats, you've discovered Splash Kingdom! The park features a tubular water park (open from May to September), in addition to an arcade, bumper boats, go karts, and a miniature golf course.

SkyTown Trampoline Park Are you literally bouncing with energy? A trip to SkyTown might be just the remedy for you. The park features 12,000 square feet of jumping surfaces. Slam dunk courts, a trampoline dodgeball court, foam pit, launch pads, and a freestyle court—everything you've dreamt and more.

The Redlands Bowl A historic amphitheater situated near downtown Redlands. It hosts annual productions such as the Summer Concert series, which runs from June through August.

Redlands Shakespeare Festival The Redlands Shakespeare Festival hosts a myriad of special programs throughout the year. Their main season takes place at the Redlands Bowl during the last three weekends in May.

The Redlands Symphony Based at the University of Redlands, this world-class symphony presents classical concerts rivaling that of any metropolitan music hall. Since 1950, the staff has provided inspiring musical education to the Inland Empire.

Redlands Footlighters A part of the city since 1945, this non-profit community troupe is devoted to presenting mutually satisfying and varied theatre experiences for both the Footlighters and its audiences.

LifeHouse Theater An independent, interdenominational theater composed of creative artists committed to producing dynamic dramas illustrating Christian world views throughout the year.

Hangar 24 Hangar 24 began in 2008 as a dream among friends sharing brews at the city airfield. Today the brewery is a hive of activity, where patrons clamor for beers each with their own distinctive character. Live music and a rotating selection of food vendors accompany their savory mixtures.

Ritual Brewing Found a stones throw from Splash Kingdom, this brewery takes it's name from the brewing process described as "a wonderful experience and a ritual in itself." Long beer hall-style tables grace the warehouse to accommodate legions of visitors thirsting for a pint of "Wit's End", "Art of Dankness", and much more!

The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe Known for its signature "On a Pizza?" concoctions, this pizza parlor has been featured in numerous publications including Inland Empire Magazine, where it's been voted “Best Pizza” 5 years in a row. Try the "Bulldog" named after our campus mascot!

Heska's Sugar Shack This bistro style coffee shop is a favorite local hangout for Redlands students and alums. Live music complements the shack's savory branded sandwiches in the restored 1920's bungalow setting.

Cuca's Mexican Food A staple of Redlands since 1989, Cuca's is dedicated to serving delicious fresh Mexican cuisine. Stop by the original take-out window open late on weekends, or the Mentone location if you'd prefer a sit down experience.

à la minute Found in downtown Redlands, this ice cream parlor takes a unique approach to crafting their signature desserts. Liquid nitrogen is used to freeze their 100% organic ice cream base and their exceptional flavors are derived with the aid of local businesses.

Eureka Before it was a chain, Eureka Burger began on the corner of Eureka and Pearl, of which the restaurant takes its name. An ever-changing, delectable selection of brews and bovine cuisine should fill any hunger pangs you may have. We recommend the Fresno Fig Burger, or the Veggie Beet Burger, if you're not beef-inclined.

Benjarong Not far from the heart of downtown is this upscale establishment devoted to Thai cuisine. Benjarong's countless selection of delectable dishes are sure to satisfy any hunger pangs you may have!

Mill Creek Cattle Company Anticipate a dining experience unlike anything else at this restaurant with a distinct Western flair. The bridals, branding irons, and other paraphernalia adorning the entrance walls instantly transport patrons into the wild west of yore. Saddle up and enjoy!
