Choose a venue with history and heart! UTEC's unique and historic building is perfect for corporate, cultural and private events of all types: we've hosted weddings, galas, concerts, meetings, seminars, cocktail parties, birthdays, performances, lectures, film releases, and so much more! With 5 unique meeting/event spaces our options abound. Facility rentals help allow UTEC to sustain and grow its mission (to ignite and nurture the ambition of our most disconnected young adults to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success) both through rental revenue and by providing diverse opportunities for youth to be involved in planning and staffing.
This beautiful building, formerly used by St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, was built in 1839. After an ambitious addition and renovation, finished in 2012, UTEC is now the oldest LEED Platinum Certified building in the country. We take pride in our “green” features, from the solar panels on our roof to the local ingredients in our kitchen. With rentable spaces ranging from a 20-person board room to a 350-person function or lecture hall, there is truly something for every occasion. Optional in-house catering and an on-site cafe (open Monday - Friday for lunch, and rentable at other times) allow you to keep everything under one roof.

TECHNOLOGY
Each of our event spaces is fully equipped. In our Main Function Hall (also good for lectures, larger meetings, etc.) we have a wall-mounted projector, 30' projection screen, high-end sound system, and theater lighting, as well as both wireless and wired microphones. Our meeting rooms, cafe space (great for evening/weekend events!) and board room all have large wall-mounted large flat screens that can hook directly up to a laptop.Yes
