About The National Housing Center
The National Housing Center (NHC), located in Washington, D.C., is the perfect corporate event venue for conferences, cocktail receptions, banquets or off-site board meetings. The NHC will impress your guests with its premiere event space fit for any corporate or social event under the sun.
The NHC is located right in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C. near world-class restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. The venue can accommodate parties with 6 to 800 attendees, meaning that your event is sure to be a success regardless of its size. Our event spaces are known for their ambience and character. For example, the Atrium is outfitted with a 2-story glass wall that is sure to awe your guests. The event space offers floor to ceiling windows, so attendees can enjoy plenty of natural light during the day and stunning views of the city of Washington, D.C. at night.
Catering is provided through some of the finest catering vendors that Washington, D.C. has to offer. All NHC clients also enjoy a 10% discount on catering orders placed with our approved vendors, and there are no food and beverage minimums at the venue.
The NHC maintains an ever-expanding supply of state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment in our event space. Whether you require basic microphones and Wi-Fi access or webcasting and recording services, our full-time dedicated A/V staff is on-site and available to quickly service your technology needs.
The premier venue is surrounded by hotels with ample parking garages on both sides and has three Metro stations in walking distance, making commuting to and from the venue largely hassle-free for guests. The NHC has built strong relationships with area hotels and car service partners should your attendees require lodging or transportation services in the Washington, D.C. area. The auditorium also features an LCD projector with computer interface and a projection screen for broadcasts or teleconferencing. This premier space is incredibly versatile – perfect for hosting a number of engagements including keynote speakers, banquets, board meetings, roundtable discussions, focus groups, receptions and more.

The National Housing Center is our organization’s first choice for a venue when holding large meetings. We have been holding events at the National Housing Center for more than a decade and absolutely love the space. The atrium is spectacular for all types of networking events. It’s huge, open and airy, and lets in loads of light! The auditorium is the perfect space for our faculty lectures, speed networking events and other programs that require lecture-style or ballroom-type setups for 200+ guests. The staff are a true pleasure to work with. This is a premier event space in a fabulous D.C. location.
