About
The Crossing Retreat Center is the Nebraska-based retreat center within the Christian Retreats Network. Our all-inclusive packages offer per-person rates that include everything your group needs to have a successful ministry event: lodging, dining, meeting, and recreation.
Our property offers lodging for up to 500 guests and meeting spaces (listed below). Various table and chair configurations are available for your selection and set up by our Guest Services team before your stay. Planning is easy with The Crossing Retreat Center and Christian Retreats Network!
Meeting & Event Spaces
Auditorium
The Auditorium is our largest meeting space and seats up to 500 guests. It includes a large stage with display screen, stage lighting, and A/V equipment! This welcoming foyer is the perfect place for registration and displays. The space can accommodate three 8-foot tables.
Auditorium Classrooms 1, 2, and 3
Classroom 1 is located in the Auditorium near the stage and is often used as a green room. It includes a kitchenette, couches, and chairs for a lounge-like feel. Classrooms 2 and 3 can be set up in a variety of table and chair configurations. These rooms are often used as a camp office, camp store, childcare, or breakout room.
Sports Complex A
Sports Complex A, home to our indoor gym, is easily converted to a meeting space. The room is 800 square feet and includes a large wall-mounted TV.
Sports Complex Classrooms 1 and 2
Sports Complex Classrooms 1 and 2 are on the second floor of the Sports Complex. Each room seats 40 guests and has a wall-mounted TV for displays.
Activity Center
The Activity Center seats up to 120 guests, with the center area of the room seating 80 in rows. The outlying space has cafe-style seating for 40. This space includes a stage with two wall-mounted TVs on either side.
Chapel
The Chapel has three meeting spaces, all with their own interior and exterior entrances.
A: This room seats up to 75 guests and has an adjacent small kitchen and single restroom. The space includes an A/V cart with audio equipment and a TV.
B: This room seats up to 30 guests. The space is furnished with high-top tables for a casual feel.
C: This room seats up to 30 guests and is often used as a lounge or breakout space. The space is furnished with couches and has A/V connectivity.
Ackerman Meeting
In addition to lodging, Ackerman Lodge includes a meeting space for up to 80 guests. The room features a kitchenette (with a serving window), a wall-mounted TV, and restrooms.
Dining Room
We offer half of our Dining Room as meeting space. A wall partition is used to split the dining room in half, allowing one half to be a meeting space for up to 250 guests and the other half to serve as dining.
Food & Beverage Options
Dining Room
Buffet dining is a standard feature included in all of our retreat packages. We offer self-service buffet lines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our Dining Room, allowing you to enjoy an all-you-can-eat experience.
Accommodations
Ackerman Lodge
Ackerman Lodge is our most versatile lodging. It offers fourteen motel rooms, ten dorm rooms, and two suites. The fourteen motel rooms sleep up to fifty-six guests. Each room has one full-size bed and one bunk bed. The ten dorm rooms sleep up to 120 guests. Each dorm room has six bunk beds as well as a private bath. Lastly, the two suites are perfect for group leaders and guest speakers. One suite includes a king bed and one bunk bed; the other suite has a king bed and a pull-out couch.
Ackerman Lodge has a spacious meeting room that accommodates 100 guests. The room has a kitchenette with a serving window, a wall-mounted TV, and designated restrooms.
Dickinson Hall
In the summer, Dickinson Hall is set up as dorm rooms with three bunk beds each, sleeping six per room. In the off-season, Dickinson Hall is set up motel style to accommodate conferences, with one queen bed and one bunk bed, sleeping up to four per room. Each room has a private bath
Clyde King Hall
Clyde King Dorm rooms have 4-5 bunk beds and an attached bathroom.
Roll In Dormitory
Each room has four sets of bunk beds and a private restroom.
