The Dining Room Offering a lovely panorama of lush woods and plantings, large windows brighten the finely appointed space creating a pleasingly open and productive environment. The 125-seat room is also home to the Carpender Family baby grand piano; played by alumni of Mason Gross School of the Arts for numerous social events.

Conference Room A Our largest of conference rooms located on the ground floor. Groups enjoy their refreshments and breaks in our sleek and comfortable lobby area.

Conference Room B A portion of the historical side of the property, reinvented for medium-sized groups. The adjoining sun porch offers lots of natural light as well as a separate break out area for smaller group sessions or casual conversation.

Conference Room C This conference room, located on the second floor of the historical side of the property, features a charming original fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, and a flat-screen monitor for projecting right from a laptop or other mobile device.

Conference Room D Located on the third floor, this room features a flat-screen monitor for projecting materials from your laptop or mobile device.

Conference Room E Similar to Conference Room D, this light and bright third-floor room features a flat-screen monitor and is great for smaller, intimate groups or as a break out room for larger retreats.

Conference Room F Tucked away on the first floor of the historical side of the property, this room features both conference space and soft seating. Velvet wing-back chairs invite brainstorming in a more comfortable setting, while the white board awaits creative ideas.

    Seating Capacity: 120
    The Dining Room, a sun-washed space with views of the majestic arbor trail and great lawns, is a lovely space for large, sit-down programs or a shared meal. All catering is provided by Rutgers University Catering & Dining services.

    Snacks and coffee are available for purchase from the front desk for guests of the Inn looking for a light bite to eat. For guests looking for restaurant fare, Neilson Dining Hall is within walking distance across the street.

Area Attractions

Rutgers Douglass Campus Expansive green lawns, tree-lined paths, and Georgian Colonial architecture give Douglass Campus its quiet charm. Home to Douglass Residential College, and many academic departments in the School of Arts and Sciences and the Mason Gross School of Arts, this walkable campus is where you will find the nationally prominent Eagleton Institute of Politics, Institute for Women’s Leadership, Nicholas Music Center, and Jameson Theater.

Rutgers Cook Campus Bucolic and green in more ways than one, the George H. Cook Campus is a vibrant academic oasis, abundant with opportunities to explore all things environmental, delve into deep-sea discoveries, and conduct research at state-of-the-art laboratories. The agrarian heritage of the campus remains strong with the campus serving as home base to both the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station.

The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum The Zimmerli Art Museum's collections comprise a number of areas of focus and total 60,000 works of art. Particular strengths exist in Russian and Soviet art, French nineteenth-century art and American nineteenth- and twentieth-century art with a concentration on early-twentieth-century and contemporary prints. In addition, the museum houses a research library of rare books, journals and other documents that support the French collection which can be searched from this site.

The State Theater The State Theatre Regional Arts Center at New Brunswick exists to enrich the lives of people from diverse backgrounds in New Jersey and to contribute to a vital urban environment by: presenting the finest national and international performing artists, providing arts education programs to inform and build future audiences, and providing a major performing arts venue in central New Jersey that encourages and enables members of the community to have a life-long association with the performing arts

George Street Playhouse Under the leadership of Artistic Director David Saint since 1998, George Street Playhouse is a nationally recognized theatre, presenting an acclaimed mainstage season while providing an artistic home for established and emerging theatre artists. Founded in 1974, the Playhouse has been represented by numerous productions both on and off -Broadway.
