McColl Center

Rising from a corner in the north end of uptown Charlotte, historic McColl Center features unique neo-Gothic architecture on the outside and spectacular contemporary design on the inside, with exposed steel beams and brick, artful walls, celestial windows, and tall ceilings. It’s the ideal event venue in Charlotte for your special occasion.

The Dickson Gallery at McColl Center is our largest space, featuring exposed brick walls, large windows, and stained concrete floors. Located on the first level, it is perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, quinceañeras, birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs; easily used in conjunction with our other available spaces. The Dickson Gallery is accessible from multiple entry points, the most impressive being our front entrance. Standing capacity: 200; seated capacity: 150 auditorium/125 tables.

The first-floor studio is located off the Dickson Gallery, with brick walls and large windows to let in daylight. The 624 square foot space comes with a built-in projector, making the room ideal for your next dinner, meeting, or workshop. Standing capacity: 45; seated capacity: 25.

Located on the lower level, the Levine Creative Hub showcases historical brick walls, stained concrete floors, an open ceiling, and a private entrance. This space is perfect for corporate meetings, trainings, workshops, retreats, dinners, and dancing. Standing capacity: 285; seated capacity: 135.

Our beautiful outdoor lawn at the front entrance is perfect for hosting receptions and cocktail hours. Set against a backdrop of our stone building, the large outside patio in back is perfect for receptions, cocktail hours, and a food truck.
