Manitowoc County Expo This fantastic outdoor event venue is great for large groups, and groups looking to hold events outdoors. With abundant parking and two buildings, each large enough to hold 750 guests, the Manitowoc County Expo is perfect for your event. The venue comes with onsite tables, chairs, and curtain booths, as well as a grand stand. 

Rahr-West Art Museum Whether you're looking to plan a corporate event, party, recital, or wedding, we've got the space you need. At our venue, we like to reach out and share the treasures lining our walls and hallways. 

Wisconsin Maritime Museum The Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers a variety of facilities that can be rented for private and public events, corporate meetings, seminars, and presentations. Amenities include presentation aids (presentation technology), table and chair service, and bar service. 

Capitol Civic Centre There are many reasons why you may choose to rent the Capitol facilities. The West Auditorium, a 1,154 seat house, is not only spectacular but is acoustically-exceptional. In addition to traditional on-stage performances, the Capiol Civic Centre is proper for large-attendance presentations and corporate meetings.

Sepia Chapel Private Gatherings
Facing the East Twin Rivers, and with views of Lake Michigan, Sepia Chapel is Two Rivers’ urban event space with a ‘rustic meets modern’ feel. It is home to a 24’ indoor water feature, and the glow from the crystal globe chandeliers reflects off the ebony-stained original hardwood floors. There’s capacity for 350 guests in crystal water-drop chaivari chairs. There are two private changing spaces, a full-service bar, loft space, air-conditioning, handicap accessibility, and so much more. It operated as St. Luke Catholic Church for nearly 111 years, and is now proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Wisconsin Maritime Museum The Midwest's largest maritime museum, where kids and adults can tour of the nation's most completely restored WWII submarine, the USS COBIA. Discover a gallery dedicated to Wisconsin-built recreational boats, or time-travel back to a 19th century shipbuilding town. Have fun with hands-on activities in the Children's Waterways Room and Little Lakefarer's Room, and you can operate a working triple-expansion marine steam engine.

Henning's Cheese Factory We are a 4th generation family owned cheese factory, that has been making cheese since 1914. Watch cheese being made Monday through Friday mornings, free, through our viewing windows. Enjoy our free museum and stroll through our store where you can enjoy a wide variety of samples, cheese, souvenirs, wine, ice cream, and more. A short 30 minute drive from Manitowoc.

Rahr-West Art Museum A Victorian Mansion built in 1891, listed on National Register of Historic Places and accredited by the American Association of Museums. Galleries feature changing exhibitions and a collection of American Art. This is the site of Sputnikfest, as a piece of Sputnik IV landed in front of the Mansion in 1962. Named one of USA Today’s “10 Great Places to See Art in Smaller Cities,” the museum features a World Class Art Collection.

Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum The Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum is the only museum dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type. Printing and type cutting demos and interesting displays for the entire family.With 1.5 million pieces of wood type and more than 1,000 styles and sizes of patterns, Hamilton's collection is one of the premier wood type collections in the world. In addition to wood type, the Museum is home to all of the equipment necessary to make wood type and print with it, as well as equipment used in the production of hot metal type, tools of the craft and rare type specimen catalogs.

Pinecrest Historical Village/ Manitowoc County Historical Society Step back in time to explore village and farm life in Manitowoc County from the 1850's to the early 1900's, travel through 25 historic buildings, and discover hands on activities at the Children's Discovery Village. Located just three miles west of I-43, (Exit #152).

SS Badger, Lake Michigan Car Ferry Take the fun shortcut across Lake Michigan on the largest carferry on the Great Lakes! The 410' S.S. BADGER holds 620 passengers, plus autos, RVs, buses and large trucks. The S.S. BADGER offers daily sailings between Manitowoc, Wisconsin and Ludington, Michigan. Mid May through mid October. Call for sailing times, information and reservations. 

Rogers Street Fishing Village  This museum village and heritage park is devoted to the history of Great Lakes commercial and charter fishing. Celebrate 175+ years of fishing heritage since 1837 by exploring an 1886 lighthouse, shipwreck artifacts, and beautiful works of art. Or stop and ponder at the French Canadian exhibit, read about the Lifesaving Service, and picture yourself with the commercial fisherman.

Capitol Civic Centre What began as an opulent 1920's movie house, this recently renovated theater is "center stage," hosting local theater, music, comedy, dance, famous starts and more! Rentals are welcome. Free tours available; call the box office in advance for accommodations. See the stars' dressing rooms, "Green Room!," backstage, and historic theatre, while learning the theater's history.

Point Beach Energy Center Open to the public! 10 miles north of Two Rivers just off Hwy. 42. Exciting displays featuring the history of electricity and electrical power generation through the use of nuclear energy, fossil fuels, and renewable sourcesl Have fun in our large hands on science toy area!

West of the Lake Gardens

Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve Woodland Dunes is located near an ecological "tension zone" between two distinct areas of natural vegetation in Wisconsin. Both northern and southern species of plants and animals are found here. Woodland Dunes offers six trails that allow visitors to explore the 1,200 acre preserve that includes woodlands, meadows and marshes. All trails are relatively level and easily hiked; they range from ¼ to 2 ½ miles long. Explore our interpretive center, butterfly garden, and two accessible boardwalks to learn about this remarkable wild area.
