Georgia Tech’s campus is located in trendy midtown Atlanta, less than 5 minutes from downtown. Our facilities and housing accommodations are convenient to Atlanta’s finest cultural, recreational, entertainment and tourist attractions making it a prime location for your conference, retreat, or special event.
Georgia Tech Conferences Services operates in the summer, from late May to the end of July. Our convenient midtown Atlanta location allows you to travel to our campus using public transportation from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
We start planning your conference with accommodations needed and build your event around that. Our housing accommodations range from traditional dorm style to individual occupancy bedroom apartments with shared baths, kitchen, and living areas.
Our Atlanta conference meeting spaces offer the latest in technology, wireless internet included, and an environment that encourages innovation. Georgia Tech can coordinate housing, dining, transportation and meeting space in order to offer you the complete conference package. Meeting & Event Spaces
Student Center Ballroom
The Student Center Ballroom allows for flexible meeting arrangements. The ballroom can be used as a main lecture facility, tradeshow marketplace, seated dinner, or theater style meeting. Ballroom can be divided into two rooms with max capacity 200 and 300. The ballroom is ideal for large meetings with breakout meetings throughout the building. The Student Center Ballroom is located in the middle of the Georgia Tech campus which allows for quick access to on-campus dining.
Ferst Center for the Arts
Located in the heart of the Georgia Tech campus, the Ferst Center was conceived as a brilliant showcase for the presentation of concerts, lectures, dance, film and theater. This state-of-the-art facility houses an auditorium of 1,159 seats and features a proscenium stage, orchestra pit, and theatrical lighting and sound systems. It is designed to provide a wealth of diverse and enriching opportunities for both Georgia Tech and the greater Atlanta community.
McCamish Pavilion
McCamish Pavilion offers a variety of options for general sessions or banquet space. The arena seating and floor seats up to 9000, with the option to add a stage. Guests will feel like they are part of the game while dining at The Callaway Club in McCamish Pavilion. Meals can be served in boxes or buffet style for up to 500 guests in this luxurious setting with large flat-screen HDTV's and a view of the basketball floor.
Couch Rehearsal Hall
The Couch Rehearsal Hall has acoustic features ideal for musical ensembles. The space is also ideal for events and meetings ranging in size from 25-200people.
Georgia Tech Classrooms
Georgia Tech Conference Services offers classroom building access for groups needing theater style or flexible seating. Instructional Center, Couch and Skiles Buildings are a few of the classroom buildings which offer conference groups a wide array of over 50 lecture halls, classrooms and meeting spaces. The rooms include everything from large 300-seat auditoriums with fixed tables and chairs to small adjustable set-up conference rooms. Classrooms come with state of the art built-in technology .
Academy of Medicine
The Academy offers an unparalleled opportunity to host functions in one of the most beautiful and historic settings in the city. The Academy, nearly 70 years old, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and boasts beautiful composition and neoclassical architecture.
A tribute to the southern reputation of charm and elegance, the facility displays Doric columns, an entry portico, black and white Italian marble floors in a beautiful rotunda accented by the famous Czechoslovakian chandelier seen in the movie, "Gone with the Wind." The Academy offers old-world elegance and style of days gone by, in the heart of bustling midtown Atlanta.
The Historic Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech has more than 9,000 square feet of event space. Split into two levels, the upper level and the terrace level, the Academy offers 7 unique spaces all with historical architectural details and modern technology. This beautiful building also offers well-manicured, spacious grounds that can be reserved for outside functions.

West Village
The West Village Dining Commons is nestled among West Campus residence halls at the corner of McMillan and Eighth Streets. It features a Starbucks, Panera Bread, and five dining concepts from Dining Services, including American cuisine at FarmHouse, Italian cuisine at Olive, and Mediterranean and Far East at Spice Trail. For those with food sensitivities, allergies, or who prefer a prepared meal, Simple Servings will offer a safe and wholesome dining option. Finally, Local Chef will bring a taste of Atlanta with guest chefs and specialty items from area restaurants.
Other highlights of the West Village include outdoor terraces with sweeping views of the Midtown skyline, outdoor fire pits and water features, indoor lounge space, and an innovative recycling and composting program aimed at diverting 75 percent of the building’s waste from landfills.

Brittain Dining Hall
This residential dining hall is located on East campus with a more traditional "Ivy-League" type atmosphere. This location uses zero trans-fat oil products in all food service operations. Zero Trans-Fat products include salad dressings, sauces, soups, breads, muffins, cereals, pasta, breaded chicken, eggs, tortillas, oils and a range of other items.
North Avenue Dining Hall
The new LEED Gold Certified dining hall offer options never before seen on Georgia Tech's campus, such as a pho station, build-your-own wok stir-frys and pasta, and a regular dim sum menu. The 20,000 square-foot facility can seat up to 325 guests at a time and is perfect for sustainable meeting locations. The North Avenue Dining Hall has a truly unique and contemporary presence on campus. This new dining venue is not only modern in design and operation, it was also built to LEED Gold Certifications, reflecting the institute’s commitment to efficiency and sustainability.The North Avenue Dining Hall is located within the Conference Complex at Georgia Tech. The complex features meeting space, parking, housing, recretional, and dining all within one location.

At Georgia Tech Conference Services, we put the “technology” into your conferences or meetings. Our full time professional conference planning staff is located right on our Atlanta campus. Services
Campus Recreation Center
The Campus Recreation Center features a leisure pool with water slide, hot tub, six basketball courts, studios and an indoor track. The Campus Recreation also offers a Leadership Challenge Course and an indoor rock climbing wall.
On-Campus Transportation
The campus is serviced by Tech Trolleys and Stinger Busses. The Tech Trolley stops include the Midtown MARTA rail station (MARTA is Atlanta's mass transit system) which connects travelers from the public transporation with on-campus transportation.
One-Stop Shop Certification
Our goal is to provide each planner and attendee with the feeling that their conference, camp, or event is the most important and only program on campus. Our conference office acts as a one-stop-shop where with one phone call all needs including housing, food service, meeting facilities, technology support, transportation and recreation services will be coordinated. Technology
At Georgia Tech Conference Services we pride our operations on the ability to provide excellent service with technology. Utilizing our campus network and communications connections, we are equipped to provide enhanced services to our clients. Our basic technological assistance starts with our Conference Coordinators scheduling internet log-ins, Ethernet and phone connections, and technical support for set-up and A/V needs. Conference Services also assists in creating computer labs, business centers, and print release stations. We can even tailor your event announcements to a unique campus cable channel for your guests viewing pleasure. In addition to your technological needs we can make recommendations on outsourcing printing and shipping in order to streamline your event operations. We are willing to work with you to ensure that your conference is exceeding your attendees' expectations.
Parking and Transportation
Our Conference Coordinators will help coordinate your parking and transportation needs while staying at Georgia Tech. Whether you are driving to campus or flying in from the airport, we have a transportation option to suit your needs. For guests driving to Georgia Tech, parking is available on site throughout the entire campus. For guests utilizing MARTA, Atlanta's mass transit system, we have shuttles that pick up from the Midtown rail station and drop guests off on campus. Travelling from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is a breeze! Just take the MARTA rail line from the airport to the Midtown Station, and then catch a Tech Trolley to the heart of the campus. We also coordinate corporate shuttles in addition to daily parking. If your group needs a shuttle service for an on or off campus event, our talented Conference Coordinators can assist you.
