Newly expanded 56,000 square foot exhibit hall that can accommodate up to 275 ten feet by ten feet booths, The Grand Hall has banquet seating for 3,000 and theatre seating for 6,000. The Classic Center also hosts an 8,000 square feet atrium, as well as flexible space including 35 rooms to accommodate general sessions, break-outs and social events. Our venue has a 2,100 seat performing arts theatre and a 22,000 square foot outdoor and covered pavilion with seating for 500 for tradeshows and space for up to 100 vendors. Attached to our facility is a 644 space parking deck.

    Over the last decade, Levy has redefined the state of convention center dining and hospitality, energizing the meeting experience with their award-wining, restaurateur approach. By delivering freshly prepared menus, sourcing locally produced ingredients and activating robust learning and development programs, Levy has continued to innovate the event day at top venues around the country, including David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Georgia World Congress Center, the Boston Exhibition and Convention Center and the Los Angeles Convention Center also awarded in 2014, among others.

    Levy will leverage their deep bench of culinary and hospitality resources, including award-winning training and development programs, analytics and more to elevate the guest experience at The Classic Center.

    Opened in January 2013 in the Cotton Exchange Building , Five Bar focuses on five easy choices in each section of the menu: apps, entrees, wines, beers and brunch. Co-owner Cris Eddings says, "we want to do a few things and do them well." A particular focus is on the sushi bar and fresh catch flown in from the Gulf of Mexico. Five Bar is open for dinner every night from 5 p.m. and for brunch on Sundays. Prices range from $13 to $26 for entrees. It has a full bar and takes credit cards.

Originally housed within the historic Ware-Lyndon House, the community visual arts complex includes large airy galleries, a children's wing, artists' workshops, and a gallery shop. The gallery shop features pottery, paintings and photography, stained and blown glass, carved and turned wood, jewelry, scarves, and knitting by over 100 Athens-area artists. Exhibits include local, regional, and national artists in a variety of mediums.
