Music Hall Theater
Make your next meeting or presentation a well-orchestrated performance in the Music Hall Theater. Built in 1895, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Richly appointed with crimson velvet upholstered seats, a storied stage and near-perfect acoustics. (Available any time of day. Tiered seating for 1,928 plus 22 wheelchairs.)

Music Hall Foyer
Added in 1907, the dramatic Music Hall Foyer boasts a soaring 50 foot ceiling of gilded baroque décor, supported by pillars of marble from five different countries. In addition, an ornate metal balcony overlooks this elegant space. (Available any time of day. Accommodates 600 seated /both floors, 800 – 1000 standing and 300 for reception.)
Hall of Sculpture
Distinguished by a double tier of columns, the hall is modeled after the Parthenon’s inner sanctuary. The space is constructed with brilliant white marble from the same quarries in Greece that provided the stone for the Parthenon. (Available after 6:00 PM. Accommodates 210 seated, 300 standing, 250 for ceremony and 120 for reception.)
The Grand Staircase
This three stories space has the most amazing natural light thanks to the light colored marble that encloses it as well as a ceiling full of skylights. A mural by John White Alexander covers almost 4,000 square feet of wall space. (Available after 6:00 PM. Accommodates 150 for standing cocktails or stations only.)
Scaife Foyer
Connecting art with dinosaurs is the Scaife Foyer, with a floor-to-ceiling view of the Museum of Art Sculpture Court. (Available after 6:00 PM. Accommodates 300 standing for cocktails or stations only.)
The Founders Room
Even more redolent of the Gilded Age aura, the cozy Founders Room features an ornate high ceiling with hanging alabaster lamps and gold picture frames. The room lends an air of sophisticated elegance to any meeting, dinner, or small cocktail reception. (Available any time of day. Accommodates 40 seated and 60-70 standing.)
The Carnegie Café
Located on the main floor of the Museum of Art, the Carnegie Cafe is a space of simple sophistication. One side of the café has floor-to-ceiling glass walls were guests can look out onto the front patio and decorative fountain outside. (Available after 5:00 PM. Accommodates 100 seated and 300 standing.)
Museum of Art Theater
This medium-sized, state-of-the-art theater houses a 14 X14 screen, wood paneled walls and a small, elevated, carpeted stage with lectern. Ideal for a breakout group, presentations or panel discussions.(Available any time of day. Tiered seating for 200 plus wheelchairs.)
  • 200 Theatre Style
Dinosaurs in their Time
Features scientifically accurate, immersive environments spanning the Mesozoic Era. Dinosaurs are arranged chronologically and filled with actively posed original fossil specimens. (Available for touring only – no food or beverage permitted.)
Foster Overlook
For a space that's classic, go Jurassic. This scenic mezzanine level overlooks “Dinosaurs in their Time” exhibit. (Available after 6:00 PM. Accommodates 60 seated and 100 standing.)
Hall of North American Wildlife
Turn your guests loose among black bears and jaguars in this second-floor space. Features some of the continent's most amazing animals in natural habitat dioramas and offers visitors a unique perspective on its wildlife. (Available after 6:00 PM. Accommodates 120 seated and 200-300 standing.)
