Academic Facilities
We offer a variety of classrooms and lecture halls throughout our campus. These spaces are perfect for a wide variety of events, such as panel discussions, breakout sessions and trainings. Some of our spaces offer conveniently fixed setups (such as lecture halls with built-in desks) while others can be customized to your needs. Most of our academic facilities are equipped with common AV equipment such as a projector and podium at no additional cost to you.

Outdoor Spaces
Take it outside with one of our beautiful outdoor spaces! We have athletic fields and beautiful green spaces that can be used for tented receptions, and more. Your coordinator can arrange for rentals to fit your event needs.

Ballrooms
Our two Davis Center ballrooms are unique spaces that can be customized for a variety of events. Our Grand Maple Ballroom offers a view of the Green Mountains and our Livak Ballroom looks out over Lake Champlain. Each ballroom can be either split into two smaller spaces or opened up into one large space. Both are equipped with state of the art AV equipment and offer natural light through floor to ceiling windows. Additional space is available between ballrooms in the Livak Fireplace Lounge & Gallery. The ballrooms are a sought-after space for a variety of events, including all day conferences, banquets and performances.

Ira Allen Chapel
Our Ira Allen Chapel is one of Burlington's most recognized landmarks. It's a Colonial Revival-style chapel, built in 1925, and excellent for ceremonies, special events, and speakers. Its unique size and charm make it a popular choice for large events in Burlington.

Meeting Rooms
Choose a convenient, comfortable space for your next meeting. There are several meeting rooms on campus to fit the needs of your gathering. Most of these spaces are equipped with a projector and podium at no additional cost. These rooms are commonly used for small to midsize meetings and breakout sessions.

Multipurpose Spaces
Your unique event deserves an equally special space. We can customize several multipurpose spaces for a variety of event types and sizes. For example, you may choose to host a luncheon in one of our historic rooms, invite an inspirational speaker to wow a crowd in the field house, or need a special space for your annual board meeting. Whatever your event, our experienced coordinators can help make it a success.

UVM offers a variety of dining options on campus, from quick cup of coffee to a diverse buffet to a full sit down meal. Our partners in UVM Dining provide fresh, seasonal, ecologically-sound options. We can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and preferences including gluten-free, kosher, vegetarian and vegan.

Our professional, courteous staff is available for plated meals, buffets, receptions, snack breaks, and continental breakfasts. Your event coordinator will work with you to tailor services and staff to your event needs.
Our Commitments
The UVM Dining Services team (Sodexo) is a proud leader in the Real Food movement. This means they source over 20% of food from fair, ecologically sound, local, or humane sources. The team delivers true farm to table dining experiences through its strong network of Vermont farm partnerships.

Additionally, UVM is a Food Recovery Verified Site that donates surplus food to non-profits that fight hunger in our community each month.  
Rentals
Our team will make sure your meal looks as good as it tastes. Table linens are included with all buffet and plated meals, and china service is included with non-delivered plated and buffet meal events. Specialty equipment rentals and decorative floral service are also available upon request.
Bar Service
We offer both hosted bar service and cash bar options. Your event planner will work with you to ensure a safe, celebratory atmosphere.
Bar service must be requested at least 20 days prior to ensure a Vermont liquor license is obtained. 
Dietary Restrictions
We can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and preferences including gluten-free, kosher, vegetarian and vegan.

University Heights
Our University Heights residential complex offers air-conditioned private bedrooms with pre-made beds and semi-private bathrooms. Kitchens and shared meeting spaces are located throughout the building. Guests can sign up for a pass to the fitness center and use the nearby bike and running path. 

You'll enjoy the affordable price and convenience of being close to everything you need, such as dining options, meeting spaces and athletic facilities. Our team provides front desk security and concierge support, including check-in/out. Free parking and WiFi are available to all overnight guests.

Conference Support
Our formalized planning process takes the burden off you, and provides support from start to finish.
Registration Services

Let us take care of registration so you can focus on your event. We'll create a customized registration webiste and securely handle all payment processing, including refunds. By partnering with our team you'll gain efficiencies without losing access to any key information. We can also handle the check-in process for you. We’ll set up and distribute name badges, securely collect payment from day-of registrants, and welcome your attendees with a smile.

Financial Management
Our one-stop approach covers all aspects of your event’s budget. Your coordinator will manage expenses, such as catering, marketing materials, and speaker fees, and collect revenue from registration. You’ll receive detailed financial reports and a single invoice.
Technical and Production Support
Our team provides on-site, on-call technical assistance before and during your event. We can also provide dedicated support managing media (such as sound and lighting) throughout your event to ensure a flawless execution. University AV rentals and support are not subject to tax or gratuity charges.
Parking and Transportation
On-campus parking, shuttle services, and other transportation is available through University-contracted vendors.
Remote Registration Support
Regardless of where your event is held, we can handle the registration for you! We'll create a website for your event and handle the payments. As part of your online registration, we can also send pre- and post-event emails on your behalf to attendees. Additionally, we can also design, print and ship you name badges and other registration materials you need.
