This private upstairs room in the historic Mill at Quechee was once the home for Simon and his family. Tucked away from the bustle of the retail store and restaurant, The Loft features a quiet and spacious room with grand windows overlooking the Ottauquechee River and falls. Combined with the award-winning American cuisine of Joshua Duda, extensive wine selections and impeccable service, our team will design a truly memorable event for you and your guests.
The Loft is an ideal setting for business lunches or dinners, wedding showers, small weddings and private corporate meetings. Guests can watch glassblowers, shop in our retail store, and enjoy the quintessential Vermont dining experience. The Loft will accommodate 72 guests seated and over 100 standing comfortably in this private setting.
An expansive outdoor deck provides a breathtaking waterfront view as well as additional space for entertaining guests or those much-needed meeting breaks. Open the doors and windows in the spring and summer and enjoy the gentle sounds of the river and a breath of fresh air indoors. In the winter, watch the snow fall onto the frozen falls of the river. Food & Beverage:
Our culinary team focus on creating exciting dishes featuring as many local ingredients as possible. Our cuisine focus has evolved from simply Irish to a more global influence encompassing Country French Italian, and Asian. We stay true to our roots with our house favorites at lunch, Sesame Seared Chicken and at dinner our Horseradish Crusted Blue Cod.

Dinner, lunch, breakfast, and meeting packages are available.
Rental Policies:
ROOM RENTAL: For a luncheon event a fee of $175 will be charged. For a dinner event a fee of $300 will be charged. The Loft is also available for day meeting arrangements and the fee may vary from rates listed above.
DEPOSIT: A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date for the private room. The deposit is deducted from your final event bill.
A second deposit is required for events of fifty (50) or more guests. This deposit is 50% of the estimated remaining balance and is due thirty (30) days prior to the event date.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT: Payment of the total balance is due at the conclusion of your special event. Payment may be made in cash or credit card.
CANCELLATION: Cancellations must be made with the Special Events Planner in writing. In the event of same day cancellation you will be responsible for payment of all prepared
items. All paid deposits are non-refundable.
