Renovated Dining Center Provides Restaurant-Quality Experience
Conference visitors to UCM this summer will be treated to new dining
Camp and conference attendees at the University of Central Missouri will not be going hungry this summer. During their stay at UCM, attendees may eat at the newly renovated Westside Market, a state-of-the-art multi-restaurant facility featuring all-you-care-to-eat dining.
The renovation to Westside Market, located in Todd Dining Hall, took place throughout the summer of 2009 and was opened to students this past fall. This is only the fifth dining hall in the nation to use the multi-restaurant design.
The facility features five distinctive dining areas complete with décor and an array of foods to satisfy every craving. From the classic offering at The Flying Star Diner to fresh baked pizza at Bella Trattoria, guests visiting Westside Market are in for a treat! “The Westside Market is truly a unique dining destination offering freshly prepared food in a vibrant new atmosphere becoming a showcase for UCM,” said Tracy Crow, Sodexo Director of Operations. “Whether our summer guests visit the new Westside Market or any of our other campus dining centers they will receive exceptional service and excellent food, prepared from the freshest ingredients.”
UCM offers discounts on dining packages that include breakfast, lunch, dinner or all three meals for groups of 100 or more participants. Camps and conferences enjoy reasonable rates for housing and dining when using UCM’s extensive meeting rooms and athletic facilities for summer events.
The dining services at UCM are contracted with Sodexo Campus Services. Sodexo has been the UCM dining partner since 1980 and provides innovative dining solutions to the campus.
