Well, it’s the time of year we all have to face, The End of Summer. For some of you, you are just finishing up a busy summer conference season and taking time to reflect as you prepare for students to arrive back on campus. For others, you are preparing for a busy season of holiday parties (are there really only 133 days until Christmas?). On a personal side, some of you are becoming empty nesters (and empty walleters) as your children head off to college.

When you call a business, what is the average time it takes to actually talk to a human being? How much  business do you think is lost due to frustrated callers who eventually hang up? I have spent years of my life transferring through phone systems and once I reach a human, they can typically answer my question in two seconds flat!
