    This unique venue is located in the heart of the newest resident buildings on Campus(Woodland Apartments). Birch features a small convenience store along with a menu of hot grinders, burgers, wings, chicken tenders and panini sandwiches. There is additional private seating in the same building along with a patio suitable for receptions and barbeques.

    Maple Ridge Grill and Oak Glen Sweet Shop
    Both spaces are small intimate quick service venues that can service athletic canteens and stores, late night pizza and snacks, team meetings with food or other limited hour needs. Maple Ridge and Oak Glen are located in the traditional dormitory living areas.


Technical Support If you are planning a performance, presentation, meeting, or party, our Tech Crew can provide expert assistance with technical equipment for your event. For lighting, sound and projection equipment the Team is there to assist with all the details.

Conference Planning The Conference Office can help with all the planning details and assist with the execution of your meeting, event, or special occasion.

Catering The Dining Services Team will help with a wide variety of catering needs from breakfast ensemble to coffee breaks to elaborate dinners/receptions and wedding receptions.

Security All aspects of security can be arranged for your event.

Equipment and rentals Our team will work with you to arrange for any necessary rental equipment or party needs.

Sport and Recreation A wide variety of sports and recreational facilities are available. Nine outdoor field spaces, diving and swimming pools, fitness and aerobic facliities as well of the newly constructed "Hall of Fame Room" with two intimate viewing boxes overlooking the main gynasium floor.

Administrative support We can help arrange support for administrative needs such as copying, faxing, shipping, etc.

Transportation Services

Transportation Services can provide fourteen passenger shuttle service for event guests to local area attractions and satelite locations.


Auditorium House Sound Reinforcement System Clearcom system with master power supply and 8 beltpack/headset units. Typical setup is a show manager in the Projection Booth, soundboard op, lightingboard op, backstage left procenium, backstage right procenium, pinrail backstage, followspot 1 balcony, followspot 2 balcony.

Main Auditorium Lighting System All lighting for shows is handled by qualified Auditorium technical staff only unless authorized by Technical Services Manager.  Followspots may be handled by non-techstaff personel only by permission of Technical Services Manager

Data and Video Projection Capabilities Technical Services for the Main Auditorium recommends that all presentations be saved in Microsoft PowerPoint format. All presentations are normally projected from the house computer located at the rear of the house in the technical booth, however, the Main Auditorium is equipped for on stage projection if desired. PowerPoint remotes are available upon request.

Buttonwood Park Zoological Society The Buttonwood Park Zoo is nationally accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. It was established in 1894 and is the 12th oldest zoo in the United States.

Battleship Cove and the Marine Museum of Fall River Battleship Cove is home to the world's largest historic Naval ship exhibit. The Marine Museum in Fall River houses a diverse collection of marine artifacts and memorabilia including what the museum claims is one of the largest Titanic exhibitions in the world.

Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery Visit Westport Vineyards for a fun and educational exploration of the world of wine. Visit and learn why Yankee Magazine has honored Westport Rivers as one of the best touring destinations in New England.

Horseneck Beach State Reservation Spread across nearly 600 acres of barrier beach and salt marsh, Horseneck Beach is one of the most popular facilities in the Massachusetts State park system.

Demarest Lloyd State Park This park is one of the best kept secrets in the Massachusetts State park system. Here an 1,800 foot saltwater beach is backed by rambling hills of beach grass and shaded, grassy picnic sites.

LLoyd Center for the Environment The Lloyd Center is the only area organization focused on educating the public about coastal and watershed issues and conducting research on coastal ecosystems and endangered species

Allens Pond Bird Walk Grab your binoculars if you're heading to Allen's Pond. You can observe spectacular bird life and salt marsh activity from a number of vantage points at this site. Over 300 bird species have been recorded during migration or nesting season.

New England Fast Ferry New England Fast Ferry offers daily service to the island of Martha's Vineyard from New Bedford's Historic Waterfront. You'll save over an hour of traffic utilizing this service.
