AttractionDescription
Fishermans' Wharf As San Franciscos #1 visitor destination, we have a lot to offer out-of-towners and local Bay Area residents alike. The tangy salt air and fabulous views are just the beginning of a memorable experience.

AT & T Ballpark The first privately financed ballpark in Major League Baseball since Dodger Stadium (1962), the Giants' new home features an inspiring nine-foot statue of America's greatest living ballplayer, Willie Mays, at the public entrance; Portuguese water dogs who fetch home runs that splash into McCovey Cove (named after another Hall of Fame Willie); an 80-foot Coca-Cola bottle with playground slides and miniature AT&T Park behind left field that has become a magnet for kids of all of ages; and mass public transit that rivals any sports complex in the world.

Alcatraz Island Alcatraz Island offers a close-up look at the site of the first lighthouse and US fort on the West Coast, the infamous federal penitentiary long off-limits to the public, and the 18 month occupation by Indians of All Tribes which saved the tribes.

Ghirardelli Square Ghirardelli Square is located at 900 North Point Street at the corner of Beach and Larkin Streets. It is on the West side of Fisherman's Wharf, two blocks east of Van Ness Avenue and one block west of the Cable Car turnaround at Beach and Hyde Streets.
