Room 108/110 A flat surfaced conference room divisible into two spaces with a portable wall provides great flexibility and function. Large windows, ceiling mounted projectors and screens and ample open space make it flexible for social or meeting events.



Room 112 Mixture of soft furniture and moveable tables and chairs, bar, sound system and large TV provide casual setting for pre- and post-dinner receptions and small dinners. Can be reserved for private events and is used for many of The Marcum promotional events.

Room 124/126 When The Marcum was built, two spaces were to be specifically dedicated to one educator and to one military representative: Robert Sinclair, a Miami graduate and professor of 30+ years; and General Hull, a 1917 Miami alum involved in three wars are honored. - Medals, awards, honors, and memorabilia are on display from ceiling to floor - Perfect for small intimate dinners or closed interviews


Rooms 154-158 Updated wall coverings, ceiling mounted projectors and screens for large event space usage. Two spaces are created with a portable wall for smaller events. Highly functional space for social events and meetings



Rooms 180-184-186 Our largest combined space is perfect for large meetings, lectures, banquets and receptions. Three spaces are created with portable walls for small break-outs, making the space highly functional for a variety of uses.     Miami grows several ingredients including lettuce, herbs, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, and fruits, while beef and chicken are supplied by nearby farms.     The park like setting of the Gazebo is the perfect setting for a retreat lunch or evening welcome reception. It is especially picturesque in the fall and spring.

Group Opportunities And Leadership The service-oriented and flexible staff at the Recreational Sports Center offer the G.O.A.L. Program (Group Opportunities And Leadership) in which they individually design activities and scenarios to promote communication, trust, teamwork, risk-taking and leadership through the use of the campus's 18-element low ropes course. The trained facilitators can custom design other experiential activities to meet the specific needs of your group as well.

Recreational Sports Center Complimentary day passes and group activities are available at our impressive 159,000 sq. ft. Recreational Sports Center on campus, which is open seven days a week and offers: Low and High Ropes Courses Olympic-size pool Indoor running track Fitness Center 40 ft indoor climbing wall

Golf Two professional golf courses are minutes away, including the one at Hueston Woods State Park. The Park also offers hiking, biking, horseback riding, sailing.

Kumler Chapel | Weddings at Miami University Kumler Chapel
Located on the Western campus, Kumler Chapel is a very popular chapel for weddings. A beautiful Roman-esque church built of stone with a warm wood interior and stunning arches, it has a wonderful array of stained glass windows.

Features: seats 235, aisle is 87', air conditioned, state-of-the-art sound system, piano available, small table with lectern for guest book, table in altar area for Unity candle, candles allowed only on the altar and in no-drip holders (customers must provide candelabras and candles).

Wedding Chapel The Sesquicentennial Chapel is centrally located on the Miami University campus. It seats 218 people. This chapel was completely redecorated in 2008.

William Holmes McGuffey Museum The second oldest building on Miami's campus, this national historic landmark is the former home of William Holmes McGuffey, former Miami professor and author of the McGuffey Eclectic Reader series.

Jungle Jim's International Market (Fairfield) Jungle Jim's International Market is described as a theme park for foodies.

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum (Hamilton) Located in Southwestern Ohio, overlooking the Great Miami River, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum is a 265 acre sculpture park and outdoor museum combining the lure of nature with the dynamic presence of monumental art.

Waynesville, Ohio, Older than the state of Ohio, the village of Waynesville offers a fascinating combination of history and culture as it developed in southwestern Ohio. This "Antiques Capital of the Midwest s" is a microcosm of our American heritage with its dreams and accomplishments.

Metamora, Ind., 1838 canal town Enjoy a leisurely horse drawn buggy ride, feed the ducks, shop in the unique specialty stores and enjoy the experience of a day out in the distinctive town of Metamora.

Hueston Woods State Park (Oxford) Hueston Woods State Park, located in Butler and Preble counties, is nearly 3,000 acres of natural resources for outdoor recreation, such as hiking, fishing, canoeing, and unique to this region -- fossil hunting.

Perfect North Slopes, Ind. Perfect North Slopes Ski Area is located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, with 22 ski trails, served by 11 lifts.

National Museum of the United States Air Force (Fairborn) The NMUSAF is the world's largest and oldest military aviation museum with more than 400 aircraft and missiles on display, most of them indoors. Admission is free.

Paramount's Kings Island (Mason) 364-acre theme and water park featuring more than 80 world-class rides, shows and attractions including 14 roller coasters, and a 15-acres Australian-themed water park.

Arc of Appalachia Wilderness: Highlands Nature Sanctuary Approximately two hours from Oxford, Arc of Appalachia region, a 90-mile crescent of land lying along the western Appalachian Front, bordered on the east by the great Scioto River, and on the south by the Ohio River.
