Meetings Can Be Serious at Dave & Buster's Meetings & Events
Dallas, TX – Dave and Buster’s takes fun seriously – especially when it comes to hosting corporate meetings and events. Why else would this Dallas-based restaurant and entertainment chain be upgrading audio-visual technology in the majority of their locations nationwide? And why else would they be doubling the value of their $20, $25 and $30 Power Cards all summer long and during the holidays for groups that purchase them for events scheduled then?
“Many meeting and event planners don’t realize all of the different opportunities they have at Dave and Buster’s,” said Ty Watson, Director of Sales, explaining that groups can hold serious meetings in dedicated, well-equipped meeting spaces then shift into entertainment and dining – all under one roof.
Dave and Buster’s outlets can be found across the country and offer multiple private meeting rooms that can handle up to 200 people. Then there’s the option of closing-out the facility to the public to accommodate a larger event of up to 2,500.
Currently the corporation is upgrading A/V equipment and adding plasma screens in many locations. Each outlet also has its own event planner to facilitate arrangements.
From the very beginning, 25 years ago, Dave and Buster’s has always been “dedicated to hosting unique meetings and special events,” Ty pointed out. Today groups can select from a large variety of chef-created buffets, which virtually guarantees the appropriate food service for your group.
But from the beginning, when a guy named Dave joined his arcade to a restaurant named Buster’s, Dave and Buster’s has always been about having fun, too. And around a meeting or event, why not enable your participants to interact enjoyably?
Dave and Buster’s “Party and Play” package is its most-popular. For a single price-per-person, groups can meet, eat and provide Power Cards to each participant.
Team-building can be done effectively – especially when using the newest concept, “D&B Duel.” Participants are placed in double-elimination brackets and compete against each other in a variety of games.
Imagine your CEO facing off against a Human Relations assistant in “Dance Dance Revolution” or and you’ll get the picture – and the idea of how taking fun seriously can be pretty hilarious.
