The Faith Center The Faith Center is a multi-purpose and newest building at Lutheridge. Finished the summer of 2007, the Faith Center serves up to 552 in theatre-style seating and includes two breakout meeting rooms, a conference room, and a 24-hour access fitness center. Moveable walls enable breakout rooms, providing flexibility. The center also includes an indoor climbing wall. The Faith Center is equipped with state of the art sound and video equipment to provide groups the ability to display presentations.

Faith Center Board Room For smaller groups wanting a change of scenery from the standard room, the Board Room in the Faith Center will seat up to 16 people.

Efird Lounge One of the most popular meetings rooms, Efird Lounge has a rustic, mountain decor with two stone fireplaces, hardwood floors, and a covered porch overlooking the mountains and trees. Ideal for plenary sessions and keynote speakers, Efird Lounge is also well suited for receptions and formal dining events and features full AV equipment and wireless Internet access.

Efird Assembly A large carpeted meeting space with a stone fireplace, Efird Assembly has a panel of windows overlooking the covered terrace with rocking chairs for your enjoyment. Often used for board meetings, breakout sessions, and keynote addresses, the Assembly Room can serve up to 90 guests and features full AV equipment, and wireless Internet access.

Mission Hall Surrounded by windows, Mission Hall also features a stage and is often used for presentations and features full AV equipment.

Kohnjoy Conference Recently renovated and newly furnished, the conference room at Kohnjoy Inn is the perfect size for meetings of up to 32 people and features full AV equipment.

Bischoff Lodge This lodge features three large gathering spaces with one containing a large, double-sided stone fireplace, hardwood floors and stage. Additionally, a light industrial kitchen is contained in the lodge for groups desiring to prepare their own meals. The room with the stage can accommodate up to 100 in theater style. More than 225 people can meet simultaneously in the three rooms and feature full AV equipment.

Thornburg Meeting Rooms These meeting rooms are great for receptions and late-night gatherings for those staying in Thornburg. Each room also provides an ideal meeting space for groups up to 40 people and feature full AV equipment.

Lineberger Hall Newly renovated space!  Natural wood paneling, and brand new hardwood floors!  This space is now air conditioned and heated, and looks incredible!  Lineberger Hall is available as a meetings space for groups utilizing exclusive use of the property, Lineberger Hall features a large fireplace and built in PA system.

The Whisnant Chapel The open-air chapel at Lutheridge available April through October. It features an elevated stage and sound system, and is often used for large group gatherings.

Activities Conveniently located on 160 acres in Arden, NC, Lutheridge includes a vast array of recreational activities, sports, teambuilding and staff-led initiatives.

Staff-led Initiatives The Lutheridge staff is serious about community building among groups. You'll be amazed at the creative challenges that our staff uses to get your group working together. These activities are perfect for any size or age group from youth groups to boards and staff wanting to build community and strengthen ties.

Climbing Wall The Faith Center is equipped with a climbing wall. Pick a level of difficulty as the Lutheridge staff guide to you to the top.

Challenge Tower Lutheridge has a 41' Challenge Tower. The tower contains a climbing wall, challenge activities, and a zip line dismount. Lutheridge staff will lead your group on this activity designed to build self-esteem and community among your group.

Group Interaction Course A group interaction course is tucked into the woods with nine different challenges. Groups must work together to accomplish the tasks with Lutheridge staff helping the groups in processing.

Environmental Games A staff member is specially trained in teaching on the environment. With wetland, hardwood and pine forest, lake, and open space all on the same site, many aspects of environmental education can be taught.

Basketball & Volleyball A full size outdoor court is available for your use. A volleyball court is located by the lake.

Hiking With over 160 acres, interior trails provide a wonderful glimpse of nature and allow for quiet solitude.

The Lake The lake at Lutheridge provides for serenity as well as catch and release fishing. Canoeing is also available.

Swimming Pool Lutheridge has certified lifeguards on staff for your swimming enjoyment.

Fly fishing The nearby Mills River features some of the best trout fishing on the east coast.

Thomas Wolfe Memorial This early 20th-century 29-room boardinghouse Old Kentucky Home was the childhood home of the novelist.

Carl Sandburg Home Located close to famed Flat Rock, NC, the Carl Sandburg Home includes 264 acres of trails, forest, lakes and spectacular views.

The Grove Arcade One of Western North Carolina's most historic buildings located in downtown Asheville, the Grove Arcade features local crafts, fresh food, and an array of restaurants representing the area's distinct mountain heritage.

Chimney Rock Park Chimney Rock Park offers a spectacular75-mile views, hiking trails for all ages, a 404-foot waterfall, Nature Center, Native Plant Nursery, a variety of special events and much more.

The Blue Ridge Parkway With an entrance located just four miles from Lutheridge, the Blue Ridge Parkway is was designed as a recreational motor road connecting the Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks winding 469 miles along the Blue Ridge Mountains through North Carolina and Virginia.

Pisgah National Forest Hike through nearby Pisgah National Forest and visit Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, and the Cradle of Forestry (the birthplace of forestry conservation).
