800th Anniversary Culinary Competition Celebrating 800 Years in Hospitality

Cambridge, UK - On Thursday 5 November 2009, chefs from the University of Cambridge and the Colleges will meet at the City's Guildhall to be judged by an esteemed panel on their culinary skills. The event promises to be an exciting celebration of culinary excellence in the University's 800th Anniversary year and with more classes than ever before, competition is expected to be fierce.

Everyone is welcome to view the dishes for the presentation classes and to watch the front of house competition.

Over 100 dishes will be showcased in the exciting finale, open to the public from noon.

A Live Competition will take place on 28 Oct at Cambridge Regional College and awards will be presented on 26 Nov at Cripps Court, Magdalene College.
